About

I'm Clara.

I'm finishing high school this year. Leatherwork, knitting, and crochet are how I'm earning toward university.

Every moccasin is hand-cut, hand-awled, and hand-sewn. Every slipper is hand-knit or hand-crocheted, then sewn to a genuine sheepskin sole with the wool on the inside against the foot. Every belt is hand-cut and hand-tooled. All of it is done by me — no factory, no assembly line.

I wanted a shop that told the truth about why the work exists: tuition, the cost of good leather and yarn, and the time it takes to do the work carefully. I am not asking for charity. I am selling things I know how to make.

The hero film

The film at the top of this site is AI-generated. It is not me, and it is not my workshop. I used it because I wanted a cinematic way to show the kind of quiet, handmade work I do — without pretending the person on screen is Clara.

How I work

Vegetable-tanned and full-grain hides. Genuine sheepskin for slipper soles. Natural wool yarn. Waxed linen thread. Brass buckles. I invoice by email; payment is e-transfer. I ship within Canada; international is by request.

Questions

How long does an order take?
Belts 1–2 weeks. Moccasins and slippers 2–4 weeks, longer around exams. I will tell you a date before you pay.
Can you make something not on the shop page?
Yes — a colour of yarn I have, initials on a belt, a wider last. Custom starts at $65 and is quoted.
Are you a brand with a factory?
No. I am one person finishing high school. That is the point.
